About THiRST

Thirst is the Young Adult Ministry of Hope Church.  For our purposes, "young adult", would be anyone out of High School, Under 30, and unmarried.   Our purpose is to provide an environment where singles can grow together as a group as they grow in their personal relationship with Christ.  This is accomplished through equipping, fellowship, and group ministry. Sunday mornings are our primary teaching time, providing tools for spiritual development. Wednesday evenings are an interactive expository study/discussion directly from the Word of God. Outside corporate ministry is a part of our ministry, but our main focus is to reach young adults for Christ and provide the tools and opportunities for them to grow in their spiritual walk.  Organized and impromptu fellowship is a constant part of our group’s life.

Rod & Liz Zeigler

Rod and Liz have been married for 24 years (and counting) and have 3 children.  They have been involved with Youth and/or Young Adult ministry their entire adult life on a full time and volunteer basis.  Upon Rod's return home from Iraq in 2006, the family became involved at Hope church.  In March 2007, Rod and Liz assumed the leadership of THiRST.

Dan Pohl

Dan Accepted Christ in his Junior year of High School and became involved in the Hope Student Ministries.  After graduating from Miami University in May of 2007, Dan returned to Hope Church.  Dan became involved in THiRST and grew as a leader within the group. January 2008, Dan officially became part of the THiRST leadership team.

Josh Gilb

Josh graduated from Bowling Green State University in May 2007.  While in college Josh led Bible studies and was involved with a variety of Christian groups.  Upon graduation Josh relocated  to the Mason area and began a proactive search for a young adult ministry which lead him to THiRST.  Josh has exhibited a heart and ability for outreach and  in January 2008, became our outreach coordinator.
